As said before, you need to keep your computer on if you need continuous access to your VoIP device. You may make savings on the telephone bill, but you can end up paying more for electricity power, for instance.

VoIP providers can offer you a lot of plans, and some of them can be costly. So be budget minded when you make your choice if you do not want to end up paying for things you do not need.
